Once upon a time..

when I was 20..

young and rebellious..

something happened..

and it broke my heart..

even though I said I'm OK..

perfectly fine..

without realising it..

I'm sulking..

all by myself..

in my own little world..

I denied it..

but..

it was bad..

real bad..

dat I didn't bother to call home for almost 2 months..

lets just hope..

I would never do dat kind of things again

and without realising..

we've come to d 22nd day of fasting..

and as per my my culture.. 

peoples are looking forward to syawal..

which means..

d end of Ramadhan..

for me..

Syawal brings about a mixture of feelings..

the happiness to celebrate it with family and friends..

and the sadness to live the blissfull Ramadhan..

and I haven't done anything much dis Ramadhan..

ok then.. 

lets hope for d best..

for all d Muslims out there..

as next year gonna be my final year in MBBS (oooh... dat sounds scary)

i have a hunch dat dis raya is gonna be my last raya..

before starting d oh-so-hectic-life of a doctor.. (Inshaallah)

and soo..

I'm quite determined to kutip all d 'duit raya' this time..

it might be d last time for me..

(huwaaa... I'm dat old already????)

and so..

d things dat we anticipate when Raya comes.. 

(oh.. 'Raya' is Eid-ul-Fitri for Malaysian)

includes the Raya Clothes, Raya delicacies, Raya cookies, Raya ads, Duit Raya (Money Gifts), etc..

and soo..

When I was a kid..

I have always been gazing at d Eiffel tower miniature attached to a thermometer in my mom's display rack..

even though she tied a ribbon on d rack's door..

as a warning for her children..

not to mess with all d things in it..

d memoirs she kept from around d world..

(yup.. they've been to a lot of countries.. T.T )

I.. 

as a young kiddo.. 

sneakily untied d ribbon..

n kinda played with d eiffel tower..

i breathe on it..

i clenched it within my fist..

just to see whether the thermometer is working or not..

and I always wonder..

whether d real Eiffel tower have a big thermometer attached to it..

watching all d movies..

which have Eiffel tower in it..

and I realise..

J'adore Paris

and when I was 13 years old..

a teacher from my school offered to teach us french..

and soo.. 

I took d class for about 3 years..

back then..

i kinda speak a lil' french..

understands a lil' french.. 

(well.. our teacher makes us watched Taxi.. d original french version without subtitles.. and we understood it.. she's cool aight?)

writing poems in french..

and 

singing in french.. (haha.. singing to myself off course)

and then..

unfortunately..

they discontinued d class after d 3rd year because of d lacks of interest from d students' side..

and I lost my basic french workbook..

and I dont speak french anymore..

and now..

I could barely speak at all..

wut a loss..

but..

now..

I still wishes..

dat sumday..

sumhow..

I will be able to go there..

and simply sit in a cafe on d roadside of d magnifique city..

drinking coffee..

with croissant..

and maybe.. 

sum macaroons..

while gazing at d Eiffel tower
